Shining the spotlight on their new workspace
As a self-described one-stop platform for restaurants and suppliers to digitise, connect and grow, with over 15,000 chefs, 10,000 suppliers and over half a million orders every month, Choco is on a mission to enable a waste-free sustainable food system.
📍 Notcutt House, Southwark
As a business of circa. 500 and a HQ in Berlin, when Choco were in need of a new London office - a space they could move into asap - Beth Wem was on the case, and Notcutt House fit the brief to a tee:
Cost-friendly
Which still retained quality
Close to Borough and London Bridge
One of the overarching requirements of their search was the ability to budget fairly, not exceeding costs of their current office, something which Beth was able to achieve with Notcutt House as one of the more cost-effective options.
Despite this, the quality still shines through, representing more of a warehouse vibe with high ceilings, exposed brickwork and large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light and adhering to the less-polished aesthetic the team were seeking.
15-20 desks complete with meeting rooms was the requirement to complement a hybrid working environment. The team were also keen to strike the right balance between wanting a space everyone would feel excited about spending their anchor days in, without going OTT on the design and amenities.
As an added bonus, collaborative event and networking space included at Notcutt House means hosting clients and suppliers will be a breeze.
After initial conversations and just one round of viewings, Choco decided on Notcutt House as their new Borough base, packed up those boxes and were able to move in less than a mere 4 weeks later.
